ALC IS ALL ABOUT CHOICES:

As an Alford Lake camper, you get to choose what activities you do each day.  Riding (if you choose to ride) and swimming lessons are scheduled at assigned times, but otherwise, you have up to five activities to choose from each period.  We take attendance so we can keep track of what activities you’ve tried and

we encourage campers to try everything at least once.  Campers have the opportunity to focus on the activities that interest them the most and can work to pass levels and improve their skills.  Some girls will go to sailing twice a day, and others might focus on tennis.  You don’t have to decide in advance, you just look at the options on your schedule and choose what activity you’d like to go to at that time.  Some activities are offered for a double period to give you a longer chunk of time to work on a project or learn a new skill.  You have the same choices as other campers in your age group, so activities are age-appropriate.
