GLOBAL CHALLENGE TRIPS
These trips are designed for returning campers completing grades 8, 9, or 10, who are looking for additional adventure and challenge. The camp directors send invitations for the trips to girls who express an interest. Limited spots may be available for boys who wish to apply. Each trip carries its own flavor of outdoor adventure, action, leadership, challenge, community service and self discovery. ALC’s overall emphasis on citizenship, environmental ethics, respect for cultural diversity, and the constant attention to the sensitivity to others continues as ALCers explore the world around them.
