Why I love being a counselor at ALC: 
Growing up as a camper at Alford Lake Camp, my counselors taught me many valuable things about life. They reminded me that it was okay to be goofy and silly and to just be myself. As a counselor now, I have the chance to serve as that reminder as well as be a friend and mentor to today's campers. I get to share the spirit of camp that was so influential to me, teach the activity that I loved the most, and watch campers grow into the wonderful young women they are meant to be.
