At camp they are surrounded by strong female role models of all ages who exemplify values that encompass loyalty, integrity, independence, wisdom, true friendship and the importance of working daily on being the best person you can be. Last summer my daughter learned qualities from her counselor that she could not have learned at home which included being a considerate tent mate, a welcoming and supportive camper and the personal empowerment of being comfortable with who you are. 

 

In a world of 24/7 connectivity we love having our daughters escape from screens of all kinds and immerse themselves in the wonder and beauty of the natural world. At Alford Lake all of their senses are engaged daily with the new experiences of camp life.
